More on international publishing media and the Varnish Paywall

We were in Frankfurt this week presenting the Varnish Paywall to representatives from international publishing media. Our fast and flexible paywall solution was received with open arms...

As we wrote in an earlier blog we were in Frankfurt this week presenting the Varnish Paywall, our super fast tool for delivery of paid-online-content, at the World Publishing Expo. Varnish Software was a small fish in a very big pond at this fair where large international players within print and content management and delivery were present. Even so our humble presence was very appreciated and relevant as so many international media are struggling to re-innovate their revenue strategies with the objective of getting paid for their premium content and hence become less dependent upon advertising.

The objective is fast paid-content delivery

We met with several representatives from international media that were interested in the Varnish Paywall as they are looking for a paywall solution that can ensure their subscribers get their requested articles delivered as fast as the regular readers. The contacts we made were further convinced by the value our paywall solution has helped our customers, such as Norwegian fvn.no, attain. These contacts also shared some of their challenges which will allow us to adapt the Varnish Paywall to cater to their needs even better.

The event furthermore presented a great opportunity for us to meet up with some of our partners and other friends of Varnish: Vizrt, Atex, CCI, Cefalo, eZ Systems and First Clarity to mention a few.

The Varnish team came back from the fair knowing that we have created a solution that can help international media houses solve some of their current challenges and contribute to reducing their carbon footprint. We had one happy team returning from Frankfurt!
